Meet The Leadership & Founding Team

Nathalie Tejada

Nathalie Tejada is the founder and CEO of Generating Results, LLC. In this capacity, she has the mission to build the next philanthropic model so that the less privileged communities can have the opportunity to succeed. At an early age, Nathalie understood the power of serving others intentionally through observing her grandmother, Genoveva Mejia, the first entrepreneur she met supporting others less fortunate back in her country. Thanks to her grandmother, she decided to dedicate her life to raising funds for noble causes and to start her own business. Also, this process inspired Nathalie to create NYC Celebrates Women with the intention to serve women of color entrepreneurs.

Eliana Cruz

Eliana is a native New Yorker, writer, and public servant. She considers herself fortunate enough to witness the magic and strength of New York City women throughout every phase of her life. As a journalist and editorial writer, she has documented first-hand the rising impact of women running businesses and organizations in her community. There is no doubt that her pride in her city drives this project. This city has undoubtedly embraced and protected many cultures and creeds; however, there is still a disparity between the success of women of color business owners and their counterparts.

Eliana believes that women work with their souls and instill an essence of themselves in everything they do. This lends itself to innovative ideas for business and community enrichment. Our goal at NYC Celebrates Women is to support these ideas with tangible resources.

This project is not only for a female audience. We welcome everyone to think about how the women we represent, women of color, are part of a greater network of feminine power within our communities. We strive not only to help cultivate a stronger bottom line for their business but to highlight other qualities as well, including creativity, nurture, innovation, compassion, understanding, enterprise, and intelligence.

Genie Pimentel

Genie Pimentel is a single Dominican mother of two young adults. She came to the United States at the age of three. For the past 16 years, Mrs. Pimentel has worked as a Member Account Manager at the Harmonie Club, which is a private social club in NYC. She is also a representative for Ron Colon Salvadoreño.

Founded in 1852, the club is the second oldest social club in New York. Genie loves donating her time by helping others. Since then she has hosted fundraising events and donated her time and energy to the following nonprofits and foundations:
